Inquiry Ejea Berlin

This survey was elaborated in the Comenius-Project of the Friedrich-Engels
secondary school (FEG, Berlin) together with the Reyes-Católicos secondary school
in Ejea de los Caballeros (Aragón / Spain) in the years 2010 and 2011. Two groups
of students from each country participated in the preparation and in the realization of the survey and also in its evaluation. The question which they raised was whether there are significant differences in the lives of the young people of the two countries. The special aspect of this survey was the comparison of the living conditions in a big city and life in a rural environment.
After getting into contact, the students elaborated the topics and the concrete questions. During their exchange visits they carried out the survey; then they collected, compared and evaluated the results. The Spanish students carried out the
survey in English and asked a group of 100 students of the FEG (in classes 10 with
15- or 16-year-old students). The German students carried out the survey in Spanish and asked a group of 100 students of the same age in Spain (students of the Reyes-
Católicos, Ejea).
In this blog all the results of the survey have been published as well as the evaluation
concerning the following topics: family, leisure/free time, associations, school, the future, mobility, money and travel.
The published results are at the disposal of not only the teachers of the two involved schools but also of all the students and teachers who are interested in this topic and want to use the results in their classes.
We welcome comments, criticism and ideas of how to keep developing this topic in the future.
